Bay State Fencers is Boston's only urban fencing club and fencing academy and home to the Stage Combat Studio. Their mission is to introduce and promote the Olympic sport of fencing to neighborhoods in and around Boston Cambridge and Somerville.

Competitive Epee TrainingThis summer we are offering 2 weeks of Competitive training , week 1, August 11-15 and week 2 August 18-22. These are intensive training clinics for fencers with competitive experience. These clinics will run from 10:00 - 1:00 Monday-Friday each week. Call for further details and registration materials.

Kids FoilKids Sabre and Kids Foil are an ongoing introduction to the Olympic sport of Sabre fencing. In this program students learn proper stance, basic footwork, blade work, and beginning tactics. Exercises and games that strengthen the body and improve speed and mobility are a large part of this program. Students are introduced to the rules, etiquette and formality of the sport. Fencing uniforms and equipment are introduced and provided for the duration of this program.

Adult EpeeBay State Fencers is pleased to offer an Adult Epee program for those over 15 who have completed Fencing Basics. Adult Epee is designed for adult fencers interested in continuing to learn their new sport or for those making a comeback to the sport. This program is ongoing throughout the fencing season and enrollment is rolling. Purchase of personal fencing equipment is strongly recommended, (Fencing Mask, Under arm protector and Jacket are minimum requirements).

Purchasing of personal fencing equipment is recommended after completion of Fencing Basics (Fencing Mask, Under arm protector and Jacket are minimum requirements).

Junior EpeeBay State Fencers is pleased to offer a series of foil and e pee programs for Juniors 11 to 14 years old. Our epee/foil programs are ongoing throughout the fencing season and enrollment is rolling. Juniors who have completed Fencing Basics are encouraged to continue training by joining a junior epee/foil program.
