Labor Day HolidayCity offices will be closed. Offices will re-open at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2.

Annual Fall Rabies ClinicChowchilla Police Department's annual fall rabies and licensing clinic. Vaccine shots will be offered at a cost of $10 per vaccine. Limited cat vaccinations are available - ALL cats must be in carriers. Residents may also obtain their city dog license at the clinic. For information, call the Police Department at 559-665-8600.

Youth Co-ed Basketball League Registration BeginsThis league is for boys and girls in 1st - 8th grades. $30 per participant or $25 each for two or more in same family. Deadline to register is Friday, October 10, 2008. Games begin in January 2009. Sponsored by the City's Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department. Adult Recreational Volleyball Fall Season BeginsCo-ed open gym program for adults 18 years & older. No leagues - teams are formed each night and games are played just for FUN! The Fall season runs through November 24, 2008 with games played every Monday (no holidays). The cost is $2 per person per night. Annual City-Wide Residential Community Clean-Up DayThis a a FREE annual curbside service for single-family residences in the City of Chowchilla. All debris must be placed curbside BEFORE 6:00 a.m. on this day. There are certain restrictions and not all items are eligible for pickup. You may pick up a detailed flyer at the Civic Center or call 559-665-8615/665-8630.
