Historian and local author Gary Kern will discuss his book T
HE KRAVCHENKO CASE: ONE MAN'S WAR ON STALIN. Victor Kravchenko was a 1944 Soviet defector to the U.S. He was an outspokenly articulate critic who did not pass up any opportunity to aggressively denounce Stalin. Come hear about this fascinating man and his life and role in the Cold War!

Academy-Award winning director Mark Jonathan Harris will soon release a feature-length documentary titled "The Defector" about Kravchenko.
