Er wordt voor beginners en de wat meer gevorderde loper goede bruikbare informatie geboden betreffende de vele aspecten van een dergelijke zware inspanning. Onderwerpen als wil ik wel echt uitrusting basiskennis energiestofwisseling belastbaarheid soorten looptraining periodiseren voeding loopschema's en blessurepreventie komen aan de orde. De informatie is nuttig en wordt duidelijk uitgelegd waarbij de kleurenfoto's en grafiekjes een prima ondersteuning zijn. Voor zowel de recreatieve als de prestatieloper is deskundige begeleiding een groot voordeel en juist dan is deze informatie een prima extra aanvulling.
