A special feature will be a series of Persian music pieces d
irected by Bahram Osquezadeh with guest violinist Hamid Baheri. In addition, Andrea Fishman will present 2 Sephardic songs, Eric Ederer will lead two Turkish and Armenian songs, Julie Huniu will sing a modern Israeli song, and Denise Gill will perform on old Ottoman song.

As usual the Ensemble's dancers will present a wonderful variety of dances, including two Persian dances, a rousing Arabian Peninsula dance set to a 2005 pop Kuwaiti song, an Egyptian cane dance, and a Lebanese folk dance. In addition, members of the UCSB Lebanese Student Association will perform the Lebanese line dance, the dabka. Finally, Ensemble dancer Jatila will present a show-stopping solo dance finale.
