Late Nite CatechismCome laugh your sins off at the Omaha Community Playhouse's production of Late Nite Catechism by Vicki Quade and Maripat Donovan. This interactive play will be in our Howard Drew Theatre from July 11-August 3, 2008. All performances start at 7:30pm on Wednesdays-Saturdays and 2:00pm and 6:30pm on Sundays, with the exception of our August 9th show which will be at 2:00pm. River City Confectioners AssociationAre you interested in Cake Decorating? River City Confecti oners Association, an Omaha, Nebraska, cake club and non-profit organization, was started in 1992. It provides a club for individuals interested in promoting sugar art. The club is a great opportunity to share and network with others who share the same interest as you. Our club includes a wide variety of individuals who have all different skill levels. We have hobby decorators, shop owners, and professional cake decorators. Even though our club meeting are held in Omaha, we have several members that travel from surrounding communities to be apart of our club. We have many talented people in the club that are willing to share their expertise. Everyone who attends will benefit from the ideas shared. If you are interested in sugar art, please come join our group. Meetings are held the second Sunday of each month at 1:30 pm in the class room located at the back of the store. (NO Meeting in June or December) At our meetings, we have a short business meeting, cake tip, demonstration, and refreshments.
